Every parent wants to capture their baby’s milestones, and a first birthday is one of the most special of all.

A cake smash photoshoot is not only a beautiful way to create lasting memories, but also a fun, relaxed experience for your little one. Your baby is free to play, explore, smash, and enjoy their cake while I focus on capturing those joyful, natural moments.

Sessions typically include a mix of simple portrait images, cake smash photos, and bathtub shots, giving your baby a chance to clean up while still having fun splashing in the bath.

To ensure your final gallery is delivered in time for their birthday, sessions are best to take place 3–4 weeks before the big day.

For allergy and safety reasons, I don’t provide the cake for the session. Parents are asked to bring a cake they know is safe for their baby to eat, smash, and enjoy.

I have a selection of outfits available in my client wardrobe, or you’re very welcome to bring your own. Outfit choices will be discussed ahead of your session.
